YUKI
Yuki is a modern Japanese izakaya with a contemporary twist, beautiful open-air interiors with traditional Japanese and Balinese touches, excellent food and a team that really knows what they’re doing. The service is polished but friendly, and the atmosphere is particularly good in the evening. Our tip: skip the sashimi and maki, and focus on the standout bites, yakitori, charcoal grill options, premium beef cuts.

BARTOLO
Bartolo brings a touch of Europe to Uluwatu, with elegant French-Italian share plates, handmade pasta, decadent desserts and great cocktails. We love the black-and-white interiors — sophisticated, beautifully designed and reminiscent of a classic European bistro. The staff are lovely and the whole place has a relaxed but polished feel, making it a great choice for date night, a long dinner with friends or a special occasion.

MASONRY
Forever a standout, Masonary (formerly Mason) is built around a wood-fired grill and a buzzing open kitchen, with plenty of action and energy throughout the space. Expect smoky meats, delicious share plates and excellent cocktails, all served in a lively, bustling atmosphere. It’s busy and energetic in the best way, making it perfect for sharing — the more dishes you order, the better the experience.

KALA
Kala has quickly become one of Uluwatu’s favourite dinner spots. The modern Greek menu is made for sharing – fresh flatbreads, mezze, wood-fired souvlaki. Equally suited to date nights and dinners with friends. Great cocktails too. Booking is essential.

GOOSEBERRY
Just steps from Sejati, Gooseberry is a modern French restaurant rooted in classic French technique, serving seasonal dishes, wood-fired steaks, seafood and dry-aged meats. It’s one of the pricier options in the area, but the food, service and setting are all excellent. In the evening, choose between the elegant French bistro-style interior or the garden outside.

OSTERIA LUNA

Set within Ulu Surf Villas, Mana is a relaxed restaurant-bar with beautiful ocean and sunset views and a definite surf-chic feel. The menu blends Mexican, Asian and South American influences, with tacos, ceviche, seafood and plenty of dishes made for sharing. It’s a great spot to settle in for sunset, with Friday sessions bringing a livelier atmosphere. Perfect for sunset drinks, casual dinners or Friday night drinks with friends.

ABRACADABRA at MU BUNGALOWS
One of Bingin’s original cliffside properties, Mu Bali has been welcoming guests for decades with its laid-back island charm and spectacular ocean views. Their sunset restaurant – Abracadabra – focuses on fresh seafood, seasonal dishes and home-style cooking, making it a peaceful spot for sunset dinner away from the larger beach clubs. And whatever you do, leave room for dessert.

TEJA
Teja is a modern European restaurant centred around live-fire cooking, with premium dry-aged meats, fresh seafood and beautifully presented dishes. Set across several levels, the terraces offer beautiful sunset and ocean views, while the atmosphere is sophisticated and lively in the evening. The staff are lovely, making it a great choice for a sunset dinner.

LA TERAZZA
Perched on the iconic cliffs of Suluban Beach, La Terrazza is a great choice for sunset drinks and casual Italian food. Grab a cocktail and watch the surfers below as the sun sets over the Indian Ocean.

PAK GULA BINGIN
A brand-new Bingin favorite within walking distance from Sejati, Pak Gula offers standout Asian fusion, epic cocktails, friendly service, and excellent food. It has a more relaxed, casual feel than some of the area’s more upscale restaurants, but the food is as good as anything you’ll find in the area. A must-visit while staying with us.

SHAKA RIKI JAPANESE
Shaka Riki is one of our favourite Japanese restaurants in all of Bali. Blending Japanese, Hawaiian and Balinese influences, the menu combines imported ingredients from Japan with fresh local produce. Excellent fresh food, super friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere.
Best for: Japanese food, beautifully presented dishes, relaxed evenings.

LAGGAS
Don’t let the simple setting fool you. Laggas operates from a converted shipping container, but the food is some of the best you’ll find in Uluwatu. Their Asian fusion is consistently excellent and one of those places we find ourselves returning to again and again.
Best for: Foodies, and lovers of dumplings, noodles and friendly service.

CASHEW TREE
A true Bingin icon, The Cashew Tree has long been a favourite with locals, surfers and visitors alike, and it just keeps getting better. A trip to Bingin isn’t complete without eating here. Expect wholesome, flavour-packed food, fresh fish tacos, juicy burgers, colourful salads, curries, Indonesian favourites and plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Thursday nights bring live music, making it a great spot for a casual dinner and a few drinks.

DI VINO BY CASA ASIA – ITALIAN
Formerly known as Casa Asia, DiVino is one of Uluwatu’s favourite Italian restaurants. Run by passionate Italians, it’s known for authentic wood-fired pizzas, generous homemade pastas and a lively atmosphere. A great choice when you’re craving proper Italian food in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
Best for: Authentic Italian, pizza, pasta & wine and cocktails.

POK POK
Pok Pok is a casual Thai street food spot full of character. It’s a little drive up to the top of the hill, but absolutely worth it — especially if you like a more local, roadside-style eatery. Plastic stools and colourful mural walls set the scene, but the real reason to visit is the incredible food. Bold flavours, generous portions and fast, friendly service. It’s so good!
Best for: Thai food, casual dining, quick dinners, authentic flavours.

ARTISAN BINGIN
Artisan Bingin is known for breakfast and lunch, but their dinner menu deserves just as much attention. Beautifully executed wood-fired dishes, handmade pasta and refined mains. Everything is beautifully done, from the ingredients to the presentation, and it’s one of our favourite places for a great dinner. And for the quality, it’s surprisingly well priced.
Best for: Relaxed evenings, cocktails, modern dining, excellent food.

ULU FISH MARKET
Ulu Fish Market is a winner every time, and for good reason. Set within a beautiful tropical garden, it serves fresh seafood alongside sushi, burgers and dishes inspired by Hawaiian, Japanese and Peruvian flavours. The food is consistently excellent, portions are generous and service is fast. It’s hugely popular, so expect it to be busy, but that’s part of the atmosphere.
Best for: Sushi, burgers, grilled seafood, cocktails, live music weekends.

LA BARACCA
La Baracca is a long-time Uluwatu favourite for authentic Italian comfort food, with handmade pasta, wood-fired pizzas and plenty of classic Italian dishes. The setting is cosy and intimate, with dim lighting, candles and warm wooden interiors, and the staff are genuinely lovely. The food is consistently good and very well priced for the quality.

CUCA
Located in Jimbaran and absolutely worth the drive, Cuca offers one of South Bali’s standout dining experiences. The Chef’s Tasting Menu is our top pick, with creative dishes designed for sharing and plenty of surprises along the way. For something even more special, book seats at the Food Bar, where you can watch the kitchen team in action as your meal is prepared in front of you.

THE WARUNG AT ALILA VILLAS

THE CAVE
The Cave by Chef Ryan Clift is a truly unique fine dining experience set inside an underground cave, with an exceptional multi-course culinary journey, beautifully presented dishes and an unforgettable setting. The evening also features an immersive light show projected onto the cave walls. Seating is very limited, so bookings are essential and should be made well in advance.
